What to expect

One of the many benefits of being an online school, is that we are everywhere! So long as you have a good internet connection and a strong desire to create, you can study with us.

There is one live Q&A each week, and we provide the day/time of that class closer to your intake start date. As we have students enrolling throughout the month, we try to cater to everyone's time zones.

We're always considerate of student locations and make sure the weekly Q&A session is within an appropriate 9 am-9 pm period, however, we are unable to cater to every student's full-time or part-time work hours as well.

Online education is ideal for students who live far from a traditional animation or game design school, or those needing flexibility around work and family commitments, or those who prefer to study from the comfort of their home.

Yes, it is possible to work and study full time. However, in order to balance both commitments, it’s very important to organize and dedicate your time appropriately.

Creating a study schedule or monthly planner can be a great way to balance your responsibilities and ensure you don’t fall behind.

Total weekly time commitment is approximately 25 hours per week total between instruction and homework.  This is an approximate, and each individual may vary in their time to accomplish work necessary to be successful in their coursework.

There are many benefits with an online education!

Enjoy greater flexibility with your studies, and save time not having to travel to and from school–time which can be invested into perfecting your craft.

Classes are conducted through an online portal where you'll find each week’s content, tutorials and submission dates.

There is a live Q&A each week giving you a front-row seat to ask your mentor any questions, listen to tips and critiques on the assignment and see how a professional would handle the task at hand.

We stay connected with our students throughout each week of their program and we facilitate student feedback to ensure that meaningful and helpful advice is being given. We check in with students every couple of days and are available if they need any assistance.

Beyond school

Helping students find employment is very important to us. We provide you with the tools, resources and direct access to experienced industry mentors, to help you become well trained, connected, and prepared for studio life.

Through network nurturing and an emphasis on portfolio and demo reel building, we help you build the job skills and confidence to create quality work that speaks for itself.

The film and game industry is competitive, and the students who experience the greatest success are those who take responsibility for their career, put in the hard work to get their skills up to industry standard, leverage their mentor's invaluable expertise, and take advantage of every opportunity to excel.

Once you enroll, you will be invited to join our private student community; a lively and supportive network of peers, mentors and alumni who work at film and game studios all over the world.

By taking advantage of this community and the many events we sponsor and host (which are online and accessible to all); you have the opportunity to meet some of the most talented and influential people in the industry.
